Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose. This Policy sets out the rules for using the Owner Nodes Service and forms part of the Terms of Service.

2. General principle. The Service may be used for lawful purposes only. The Client is responsible for complying with the laws of the Client's country, the country of the traffic and the country of the websites, as well as the rules of the websites the Client accesses.

3. The Service must not be used for:

  • spam and bulk messaging by any means;
  • fraud, phishing, carding, identity theft, click fraud and ad impression fraud;
  • unauthorised access to systems, networks and accounts, brute-force attacks, credential stuffing, exploitation of vulnerabilities;
  • DDoS attacks, network scanning, packet or route spoofing, and other actions that disrupt third-party systems;
  • creating, distributing or controlling malware and botnets;
  • accessing illegal content and marketplaces, including child sexual abuse material, or distributing obscene or defamatory content;
  • infringing copyright, privacy or other third-party rights, threats and harassment;
  • sanctions evasion, money laundering and terrorist financing;
  • providing false data at registration, reselling access without a reseller agreement, creating multiple accounts to obtain bonuses and discounts or to evade blocks;
  • interfering with the operation, security or billing of the Service;
  • any other activity that is unlawful in the Client's country or in the country the traffic is directed to.

4. Network protection. We do not inspect the content of traffic. To protect the network, we analyse technical data: volumes, connection frequency and destinations. Mail ports are closed to prevent spam.

5. Enforcement. Depending on the nature of the violation: an email notice stating the reason and a deadline to remedy it, limiting speed or features, suspension of the Account, or blocking. In case of serious violations, the Account may be blocked immediately without prior notice.

6. Reports and requests. We accept abuse reports through the Report Abuse page and at support@ownernodes.com. We provide information to third parties and government authorities in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

7. Changes. We may change this Policy. The current version is always available on the website.
